Job Description: State Fair Chair

 
  • ·         Plans, coordinates and runs School Carnival
  • ·         Works with committee members to book vendors, find sponsors, field placement of activities and interactives
  • ·         Works with Volunteer Coordinator to help decide placement, frequency and shifts of volunteers for set-up, during & tear down
  • ·         Works directly with Auction Chair to ensure that the two sectors of the evening work together and seamlessly
  • ·         Works with the Treasurer leading to and night of the event to make sure there are systems in place to collect and count money
  • ·         Works to stay within provided PTA budget
  • ·         Multi month project, but systems have been set in place so that moving forward it becomes easier to plan year after year.
